‘나성(NaSeong)’은 한때 한양의 외성(羅城)이자, 마치 별이 늘어선 모양(羅星)으로 산맥을 따라 아름답게 불빛을 수놓은 서울성곽에서 영감을 받아 제작된 리빙 오브제이다. 오직 흙만이 보여줄 수 있는 따뜻하고 우아한 느낌을 담기 위해 대부분의 제작공정은 핸드메이드로 진행되고 있다. 손길과 불길이 이룬 마법으로 만들어진 세상에서 단 하나뿐인 오브제를 통해 그동안 익숙하다는 말로, 바쁘다는 핑계로 제대로 보지 못하고 지나쳤던 서울의 새로운 면면을 녹여내고자 했다.

‘NaSeong’ is an object inspired by the Seoul City Wall. Seoul City Wall was once a defensive wall in the capital, and now are beautifully embroidered the mountain like row of stars in the night. Through ‘NA-SEONG’, I hope everyone can find a new side of Seoul which has been overlooked under the pretext of familiarity or busyness.
